@SentientPlastic @bearberryvee I’m sure plenty of people liked it but it was somehow too sweet, nothing stood out. I think Ben and Jerry’s has some seriously good flavours, which is why I get it despite the price, but I remember being sorely disappointed with this one. Shame cause it looked so darn cute.

@GLmaobox @kathleen_stock1 My rollator lets me work my job to pay my taxes. If people believe I’m faking due to posts like this and stop believing I need reasonable accommodations, then I’m on the governments bill too. The effects of the hatefulness will be felt most by those working hard to contribute.

@samalamaloo You’re absolutely not too old to start. You’ll have years of various experiences that many who started training younger won’t have, use that to your advantage. Showing that it’s never too late to follow your passions is a lesson that’ll stick with so many young people.

@peterph28794929 @AgitatorAK @JeremyClarkson Vehicles set up for wheelchairs are ridiculously expensive. I remember looking at them when I first started working with a disability group and it’s quite frankly ridiculous. I’ve seen vans double and almost triple the price they’d be if they hadn’t been made wheelchair friendly

@c5690148713417 @Adam_Hpef Tents have zips on both sides, you’re supposed to be able to leave them decently quickly. These beds are designed to protect those in them by stopping them from leaving. Beds like these also have to be fit to the mattress so things or people don’t get caught in gaps, tents aren’t

@Adam_Hpef @brushbuddyelle I think that we can all agree with their issue of price, it’s just that many people in the comments don’t see the purpose these beds serve. They’re more than just tents on a bed, which many here don’t get quite yet.

@brushbuddyelle @Adam_Hpef And I agree, the benefit of a safe child is more important than the financial cost, but if we’re thinking like a lot of these commenters are, the cost to tax payers is their concern. Hence, the cost to the NHS being a concern. It’s a cold way of viewing it but a way nonetheless.

I know too many bright teens who would thrive with that kind of help. Their parents fight hard so they’d have gotten that if they could

@SidtheSexiest_ @ellasrhapsody Many schools won’t help past a certain point. I was sick for years and couldn’t attend school, but I never once got work sent home or anything despite having a sibling in the same school who could take it for me. Still an issue now with the young people I work with.

@mexicola25 @sapphyreblayze Unfortunately, many of those spaces are simply too expensive for young people without parents funding it. Teens are regularly kicked out of shopping centres, parks, etc. just for being in groups. We should be funding safe spaces where they can do all those things.

@mignon_ette_ @loopzoooop Okay but a library is not the space you want most of these teens. Our local one used to have an extended hours service for members that had to be shut due to antisocial behaviour. Now it’s only open 4 days a week. We need to fund youth spaces first before social media bans.
