@IslesUpdateNY Problem is. Sharks need d. Barzal for the pick and Ek doesn’t really move the needle for them.
They need Barzal plus Pelech or George for it to be beneficial for them.
Ek and #2 + a 2nd or 3rd for Barzal and George
@MatthewModine Still one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.
If this movie doesn’t get you riled up, nothing will.
Story, cast, soundtrack..
Lobe this movie!!
@joe_nocera@ian_LGI16 I agree. I’ve seen him play in Utica. He looks really good at times and then mediocre other times.
These players overvalue themselves I think.
He isn’t worth 9million per. What has he done to command that salary?
@WinningIsBetter@stefen_rosner@Jason_Shaya Great point.. I think a lot of times these kids are too good for the league they play in (OHL) and struggle to make it in the pros.
Dal Colle was a 40 goal scorer who never panned out and was a top 5 pick. Others come to mind as well.
@VoiceIslanderFn@stefen_rosner@TheElmonters I’ve been thinking the same. 3 ,24, and or 6 should be moved. 6 stays because he is the better RHD.
Have to ask the question. Is the team better with 24 and 3 or Aitch and George.
My answer is the latter. Cheaper too. Allows us to spend money where it’s needed. On offense!!
@stefen_rosner@Sal_Farieri@TheElmonters He does play the right side though on the PP.
I’d love for the team to move on from 24. This team desperately needs speed and puck movers, not 30 year old slow grinders.
@UrNotMe715@NHLRumourReport@NYIslanders Mayfield definitely. Tony D provides low cost offense and not great defense. He can stay. I think the move is Pelech. Really hard to find a solid RHD let alone 2 in one offseason.
Mayfield has to be moved.
@UrNotMe715@NHLRumourReport@NYIslanders Unfortunately that would leave a hole in the right side. Makes more sense to move a left pairing defenseman.
Pelech, George, Romy..
@NHLRumourReport Not signing Lee frees up a spot for a young forward. Team needs speed and creativity. Now is the time to start giving these kids a chance to play at this level.
They also provide cheap solutions for 3 years allowing the team to go after bigger fish!!
@jonmoxIeys Brings back memories for sure.
My father knew the cops that worked right outside the big Bat. We would park next to the handball courts and walk in with the Press. Sat wherever we wanted in the early 90’s right before they went on their run.
Best of times!!
@RJNYY0@islanders_takes Romy is signed long term, so I doubt he’s moved.
I’d like to see 1 of 3,6,24 moved. 6 most likely stays because he is RHD. Need to get younger up front and get mobile puck moving d for fast transitions. Isles are painfully slow up the ice.
