Ex Navy, now building iPhone apps after hours at Ashpey Labs 🛠️ Kept, Ralli, Outlense and Haven. Sharing what works and what doesn't. Sydney 🇦🇺

Three of my iPhone apps went live on the Aussie App Store this weekend 😅 Kept, Ralli and Outlense. All built after hours under Ashpey Labs. I'll share what works, what doesn't, and real numbers once there are some.

@adcock_brett @hark_labs @Gizmodo Appreciate it! What you’ve built is incredible. One gap across AI is family integration and pooled usage. My wife and I love Hark, but separate subscriptions make household adoption harder. Would love to see family sharing and collaboration built into the core agentic experience.

@diceai0 no streaks is a nice call. how are you getting people to find it so far? 👀

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@nestor__studio 7 is solid. which one's actually pulling its weight? 👀

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@mindinpanic still working that one out myself, three of mine just cleared review in Aus. Curious what's worked for you so far 👀

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@chriscompiles lol that's the plan, just hoping the breaking part stays small 😅

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@pfernan95dev posting out-earning the app 5x is painful but kinda funny 😅 three of mine just cleared review in Aus so distribution is next

Freelancers get asked "you free on the 25th?" by five different businesses. Ralli lets you just say "I'm not available on the 25th" and every business you work with sees it. Free for freelancers 🙌

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@jacobtechtavern how long do you keep old dsl versions alive before you just force an update? 👀

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@KhalilNoaman indie ios here, building with codex out of Australia. keen to connect 🙌

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@lucas_builds null-sum is the right word, that's why i'm treating it as the real job and not an afterthought 🛠️

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@mayank0324 I haven’t dabbled in MacOS yet!

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

Took me a handful of App Store submissions on Kept before I let one go through to review. Lesson learnt: stop polishing and ship it 🙃

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@Typ0genius nice roundup, with Apple pushing deployment target to 27+ in the samples now, have you noticed Codex handling the migration bumps any better than a few betas ago 👀

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@szamski clean breakdown, the 36 pt target is the one that quietly breaks stuff, are you planning an update to Horacalendar for Touch already? 👀

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@vishlbhardwaj scrollable liked-by stack would be a nice dev tool, SwiftUI makes that kind of gesture feel native pretty quickly 👀

[Clint Brady 🛠️ @BoardroomBosun]

@Joshua_WD app intents as siri tools is big for shortcuts nerds like me 👀
