A5: VR and AR can take students out of the classroom into the world around them. Beginning next semester, it will possibly allow the English IV students to experience their college of choice and desired profession.

A4: Technology is a way to differentiate for students without others knowing how each assignment is different. If one student needs to be challenged and another modified, it can be done easily and without singling out.

A3: I think technology should be used in every PD. It needs to be modeled in order for it to be applied. I think it is great to use technology to have your PD. When this is done, it cuts down on meetings after school.

A2: Prior to Frenship, I have been in two districts which were 1:1. I must confess that it has been a challenge here to use technology. It is extremely challenging to get your hands on devices. Yes, MOST of my kiddos have phones, but not all.

A1: I am having my students set goals every 6 weeks and then we reflect at the beginning of the next 6 weeks. This allows my students to see their growth and realize they can achieve a goal. Most have never set goals previously. We continue this cycle each 6 weeks.

Q4: When I have my students set goals, I first share my goal and reflection on my previous goal. I talk through my struggles and successes in front of the class, and how I determine the need to alter or keep my present goal.#tigertechsquad
