What a very, very generous review of The New New Delhi Book Club. It's write ups like this that make the vagaries of the writer's life worth it.

The evening in Nagpur was full of interesting discussions during 'The Write Circle,' an initiative of the Prabha Khaitan Foundation. Monica Bhagwagar, Ehsaas Woman of Nagpur was in conversation with Radhika Swarup, who shared an in-depth exploration of her life's experiences and thoughts.
The Welcome Note and Vote of Thanks was given by Priyanka Kothari, Ehsaas Woman of Nagpur.

Can't wait for this book to finally be out in the world after what has felt like an interminable wait. Thank you, Westland Books, for your patience and for the love you have shown to the quirky, impossible, and all too relatable inhabitants of the New New Delhi Book Club.
Thrilled to have @WestlandBooks publishing this, and to have the formidable @karthikavk and @Sanghamitraa_ love the people and the streets in this tiny Delhi neighbourhood like I do!
We are excited to announce that the Longlist for the AGBLF Book Prize for best Fiction is out now! Congratulations to all the authors, translators, and publishers.

A harrowing reminder of the fact that this is an old story. We talk a lot of change, but the passage of time with no real change is damning. See this thread below...
#SarahEverard's ordeal reminds me so much of the #Nirbhaya case a little over 8 years ago. I remember the same feeling of rage and helplessness when Nirbhaya was gangraped and thrown out of a moving bus in Delhi, India.
Amazing conversation with Radhika Swarup skillfully conducted by @AdvaitaKala
