Life rarely makes sense while you’re living it.
Most times, the dots don’t line up. The confusion, the rejection, the waiting it all feels random. But with time, you realize something important: you can’t connect the dots looking forward. You can only connect them looking backward. And that’s why faith matters faith that what you’re doing today, even when it doesn’t make sense, will matter tomorrow.
I’ve learned that love and loss are inseparable parts of the journey. There were moments I was rejected. Moments I questioned myself. Moments I felt pushed aside. But even then, I still loved what I was doing. And that love is everything. Because the only way to do great work is to love the work you do. When you believe in what you’re building when it feels meaningful you endure the setbacks. And it gets better. Not instantly, not easily, but surely.
Then there’s the truth we often avoid: death.
As uncomfortable as it is, remembering that our time is limited brings clarity. Asking yourself, “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I’m about to do today?” is a powerful compass. And when the answer has been “no” for too long, it’s a sign it’s time to change something.
Knowing that we won’t be here forever strips away fear. It helps us avoid the trap of overthinking, of living cautiously as if we have everything to lose. The truth is, we don’t. Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t let other people’s opinions become the blueprint for your future. Don’t let the noise drown out your own inner voice.
Have the courage to follow your heart and your intuition. Somehow, they already know who you’re meant to become. Everything else is secondary.
So take risks. Trust the process. Embrace the uncertainty.
Stay hungry never stop wanting more growth, more meaning, more truth.
Stay foolish have the courage to try, to fail, to begin again.
Because that’s where real life happens.
