@PrincipalWWR With a 4am wake-up call, it is difficult not to go to bed early! The early start also makes it more difficult to squeeze in a morning workout. Afternoon workouts are a no-go due to exhaustion from the day. One of my goals is to start packing lunch and snacks, so I eat better!
A3 One habit I don't want to break - but maybe moderate - is how quickly I jump in to assist. Teachers appreciate the support, and behaviors are addressed quickly; however, my focus needs to be more on instruction. I need to empower teachers more. #VAESPChat
@WESPrincipal I've found that if observations aren't on my calendar, they are less likely to get done. Additionally, my admin assistant is better able to support me with student and teacher needs.
A2 Every morning, our admin team greets our 851 students as they enter the building and walk the building to say good morning. We are outside waving goodbye to students as buses pull away. Cultivating relationships is a critical component of our culture. As #VAESPChat

THIS! I love listening to Ken Williams @unfoldthesoul. He keeps it real, he keeps it in the forefront, and he keeps it honest.
