She tied her two young children together in the basement. Then she threw her body on top of them.
A tornado was heading straight for their home.
When it hit, the house collapsed.
Two steel beams crushed Stephanie Decker’s legs. Seven ribs broke. Her legs were almost completely severed.
But underneath her were her two children.
Alive.
Then they realised something horrifying:
Another tornado was coming.
Stephanie couldn’t stand. Couldn’t run. Couldn’t free herself.
So she pulled the blanket over her children, wrapped her arms around them and covered them with her broken body.
Again.
The second tornado passed.
Neither child had even a scratch.
Stephanie survived, but lost both legs.
People called her a hero.
She simply said:
“I call myself a mom.”
This is my reality right now. Im a widow. Im living with a loneliness that can be absolutely brutal. I see other people making holiday plans with their partners and families, and sometimes it brings home what I don't have anymore . And after everything Ive lost,I didnt just lose my husband , I lost my home that we shared ,our dream our future....there are moments when the house, the weekends, the evenings — all of it — can feel painfully empty..Yes this is my reality now 💔
I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
Catholic Charities has done an untold amount of damage to America’s social fabric with their law-breaking activities at the southern border.
AOC spoke out against ICE and told a parish to stand with their trans brothers and sisters during a talk in a Catholic church in Syracuse, NY.
This is the same Catholic Church that had a pride mass on Trinity Sunday last year.
There is a real rift in the church. We cannot let politicians that are catholic in name only influence the laity when they are actively supporting policies that are not in line with church teaching.
Faithful Catholic Joe Biden, according to Bergoglio
Receives lifetime achievement award from Planned Parenthood, industrial scale provider of baby abbatoirs
When he received the award, he replied he's 'appalled' by Roe's reversal
Maybe he'll take it with him when he recieves Holy Communion this Sunday
Cardinal McElroy and Cupich must be so proud

OK X-friends! 👋🏻
Here’s a real pic of me, now that we’re safe in the US! 🫣
Some context for the pic — fun story. My wife went to meet recruiters in Tampa today, and I was waiting outside. I needed the men’s room, so I spotted an Applebee’s and thought I’d go in and buy a cool drink so I could use it(use the mens). 🚹
They told me they didn’t open for another 45 minutes, but I could sneak into the men’s room. I did, and as I was leaving they said that since they weren’t open yet they couldn’t sell me a drink — so they’d just give me one. And they did! a Pepsi, on the house, just like that.🧋😮
The people in this country are stealing my heart more and more every day. I’ll share more stories as time goes.
But yeah, I had to share this and share an honest pic of myself📸
Thank you, USA, for having us. We are grateful every second of every day!! 🙏🏻🦅🇺🇸❤️💙
So @FoxNews has had to fire people for inappropriate sexual behavior with colleagues and then hire somebody who helped cover it up for the city of New York. Well done.
🚨 BREAKING: Virginia’s first Muslim lieutenant governor, Ghazala Hashmi, was sworn into office using the Quran.
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Islam is NOT compatible with America.
Sitting at a Houston downtown hotel this morning drinking a cup of coffee outside of Starbucks at a table catching up on news and scrolling post on X.
A 35ish man walked up and was mumbling to himself. His eyes were distant. His clothing filthy. His long hair stringy. He kept getting closer to me, gazing up at the trees in the park and then sliding a little closer.
I started to get very uncomfortable. I’m not young. I didn’t have my usual protection I carry always. I was up against a wall and felt trapped. I was looking around to see if anyone else was noticing.
3 men were standing on the sidewalk talking, laughing. 1 of the 3 men standing on the sidewalk looked at me and asked ‘are you ok mame?’ and I shook my head ‘no’. Within seconds, all 3 of these men placed themselves in front of me and made a circle. 1 then told this obvious vagrant to leave me alone, politely saying ‘walk away my man’. He hesitated and walked away. They then sat down in a circle at different tables to surround me and stay there until he was completely gone around a corner.
To you three, one from Dallas, 1 Huntsville and the other 1 Houston that are working at the Midtown Park @midtownHOU at the Houston Food Festival today and tomorrow, thank you. You made me cry. I cried at the relief you gave me and I cry while telling you how much it means that there’s still men that will protect a complete stranger.
Thank you
Please pray urgently for a dear friend of mine, Claudio. He was found hanging and is in the hospital in critical condition. The medics have said that if he does not stabilise by tomorrow, they are unplugging all the machines and he will die. And if you feel suicidal, please DM me
I don’t do this , but i am today. My nephew, who is 19, called 911, went unresponsive. He is in hospital. Intubated, sedated. Not doing good. Can i please get some prayers or good thoughts. Caden is his name.
🚨 HOLY CRAP! Florida residents just STORMED a local Palm Beach County meeting to PUSH BACK on the construction of a new Islamic Center in the region
One man WENT HARD at the idea they’d be blasting the Islamic call to prayer every morning
“Will there be an amplified outdoor call to prayer?! Will surrounding neighborhoods hear it five times a day?!”
“If credible documented evidence exists, connecting specific individuals or organizations associated with this project to extremist organizations, residents deserve to know what authorities have investigated and determined who controls this organization?!”
“Who is financing this project, where is the money coming from, and what security review has been conducted?!”
KEEP PUSHING!! We cannot lose Florida to the Islamic invasion ☀️
These places can become ground zero for terror to fester. We can’t let it happen!
Hundreds showed up, per our @FLVoiceNews report
Halfway through her pregnancy, a young mother learned the baby boy growing inside her would not survive outside her womb.
She carried him for another four months knowing that for as long as he remained inside her, she could keep him safe.
Peter James Raridon was born September 11th.
His mom Anna and dad Eli, a rookie tight end for the New England Patriots, learned during their 20-week anatomy scan that Peter had anencephaly, a fatal condition affecting development of the brain and skull.
Instead of preparing to bring their first baby home, they spent the remainder of the pregnancy loving him while knowing their time together would likely be painfully short.
Anna says she is grateful she got to love Peter, protect him and be his home for nine months.
Then she wrote the words that absolutely broke my heart:
“I have loved you every second of your life & will miss you every second of mine.”
Anna and Eli are leaning heavily on their faith, believing their son’s life had meaning regardless of how brief it was and that their goodbye is not forever.
One of the images they shared shows Peter’s tiny footprints inside a Bible.
A reminder that this little boy was here, he was deeply loved, and he will always be their son.
Please pray for these young parents and for every mother and father who understands the heartbreak of loving a baby they never got to bring home.
