At the source of the Nairobi River insects inhabit a quiet highland ecosystem sustained by vegetation and moisture. Pollinators, predators, and decomposers signal a balanced system, but expanding urban pressure raises concerns over protecting this fragile river source.
Beneath the towering trees of Ngong Forest lies a hidden world where insects and tiny creatures quietly sustain the ecosystem, breaking down fallen leaves and rotting wood to return nutrients to the soil. @mwarv@KeForestService@UEF_EntoNet@KEFRIHQ@icipe

Downtown Nairobi - one of the areas I haven't ventured into with my camera.
So, when an opportunity came up, courtesy of @mwarv & @BoniMuthoni while in the company of @kesh_nthamba, I had to jump on it!
This is Kanairo.
Walking between Tom Mboya Street and Muthurwa with a camera isnβt something anyone can do fearlessly.
So I got together with @BoniMuthoni@mutahichiira@kesh_nthamba and Winnie and captured this rarely photographed side of Nairobi.
