Extremely thrilled for the next step in my career as an Internal Medicine resident @PittDeptofMed! Very grateful for everyone who supported me in this journey and especially my fantastic mentor @BonifantLab. Can't wait to join the #UPMC family! @PittIMChiefs@PittGIM#Match2022
Very excited to see our latest work on COVID-19 therapeutics with @BonifantLab published in @FrontImmunol. Here we describe the use of the novel BananaLectin-CAR engineered NK cells for the treatment of SARS-CoV-2 infection. #COVID19#CAR_NK#BananaLectin https://t.co/C8IHLEK3zD
Excited to share work out of the lab from Wesley, current grad student, and Challice published in @ASTCT_Journal exploring the impact of disease burden on tisagenlecleucel treatment in B-ALL patients at @hopkinskimmel and @StJude with our friends @AimeeTalleurMD@Kyttaro_Therapy
This real world analysis was a great collaboration between @HopkinsMedicine and @StJudeResearch that we hope will inform current standard of care practices for tisagenlecleucel therapy @NovartisCancer#CART
Our very own @ChristodoulouMD showing off his great work in the lab at #ASH21 And 1 poster wasn’t enough for our Ilias, he came ready with 2! 🇬🇷 🤩 Ilias and Challice are representing #BonifantLab well in Atlanta
It was wonderful to present our work with @BonifantLab
on CAR-NK cell targeting of Acute Myeloid Leukemia and Lectin-CAR engineered NK cells for SARS-CoV-2 clearance at #ASH2021. Honored to be among the Abstract Achievement Award Recipients! #Immunotherapy#CAR_NK#AML#SARSCoV2
Engineering CAR-NK cells to secrete IL15 sustains their anti-AML functionality, but is associated with systemic toxicities https://t.co/yzlMLGzNlF #bioRxiv
Excited to share our work with @BonifantLab! Here we describe the design and testing of NK cell-specific CARs targeting the CD123 antigen on AML cells. We also enhanced the anti-AML activation of CAR-NK cells with secretory IL15 and explored their in vivo therapeutic potential.
Dr. @ChristodoulouMD from @hopkinskimmel presented research findings from his work examining IL15-secreting CAR-NK cells in AML, highlighting enhanced efficacy but lethal toxicity, thereby informing future CAR-NK research efforts. #IOYIF21#celltherapy#CART
@HopkinsBio major Wesley Ravich's passion is to work in pediatric oncology and he has done just that since arriving at Hopkins. His work in the @BonifantLab is focused on the field of cellular immunotherapy, which is poised to revolutionize leukemia therapy. #CancerResearch
