@texasvaquero1@cjs214 Thank you! I grew up in Jacksboro and every Christmas Eve since 1948 our VFD fills mesh stockings with fruit, unshelled nuts, and hard candy and drives through town with Santa on a vintage fire engine handing them out at the nursing homes and to every kid in town.
@texasvaquero1@cjs214 I grew up in that part of the state and almost all the fire departments there are volunteer departments and have websites where you can donate. Google Palo Pinto County fire department or Jacksboro Fire Department
@forwardnotback I have a Little Free Library in my front yard and Iโve had several people add some books from Dollyโs program that their kids have outgrown
@LolaPatolla Won all 4 books I bid on! (& have already paid for them) They will be going into the little free library in my front yard that is named after my dog Dodie๐พ
@Korteacres Been there, done that and it's horrible. Worst part for me was the feeling that I needed to break wind (as my dad always said) but that wasn't the cause of the gas.
@AveryBa68752542@TeamTalaricoHQ Looks like he did. As a lifelong Democrat voting Texan this one shocked me and Iโve seen some crazy stuff in Texas politics

@azsweetheart013 Iโll spend the evening comforting my dog who will be hiding under my desk - our house is half a mile from the spot where our townโs fireworks are shot off ๐ฅLargest fireworks show in the TX Panhandle
@jjb808@AveryBa68752542 Our weather has been so odd this year. It was so chilling this morning I wore sweat pants and long sleeves to walk my dog. The high temperature on Sunday was 76. That's unheard of in the middle of June.
