@DrEm_79 @EmergMedDr Quite- resilience is a much abused term, especially when it is used to imply that having a reaction to a stressful event or two, or three... is showing weakness. Don't be hard on yourself for proving you're a human being
@RuthCarlyle@ConfEblip certainly library orientation has a added 'thing to do' on an already packed list of 'things to know about'. I try and keep it very much to a top level, these are all the things you could find useful later on. Sometimes I see eyes which are completely glazed.
@RuthCarlyle Absolutely, are they feeling b***yminded that day and write "Darth Vader"? [Yes really] Do they even have their id card with them? Do they write their mates name on the list because their mate is off doing something else?

Literacy attainment in FE is a source of concern and I would be very interested in seeing what of this experience can be transferred to an FE setting @ConfEblip
