I am still using @Clubhouse. Why?
I launched Rethinking Aging Club in March 2021. I have a large library of show archives. In August 2024 we launched 2 podcasts on Apple, Spotify etc. Weekly News for the Ages by Rethinking Aging Club starting with 18 months of archives and Rethinking Aging Club (RAC) Podcast with themed shows like Smart Home, Vision Tech, Hearing Innovations, Robotics. Eventually I'll get all of those RAC archives onto the podcast - I only have 50 or so left to go.

The sound is great just using mobile phones. Clubhouse lets us download our "replays". We edit these and publish as podcasts, housing them on the @boomertechtalk website. We have a live audience, comfortable space for scheduled speakers.

Someone asked "what is Clubhouse" so I looked for a recent article and found this by @justAnotherPM

You overlooked the sound quality and downloads. I would call Linkedin audio another potential competitor but they didn't put much effort into it and certainly you can't download a recording.

I do agree with you that while Clubhouse still has live townhalls which interactive chats that I have always applauded. However, they filter other user commentary through Joe and I doubt this is fully serving the co-founder, Paul. I have brought hundreds of new users to the platform and continue to do so as we invite experts for our themed shows but no one acknowledges this.

I see @anuatluru follows you. They lost a lot when they lost her. She actually understood the value of the Rethinking Aging Club's shows.
