Toronto Tempo coach Sandy Brondello was suspended by the WNBA without pay for one game on Saturday for "an inappropriate comment she made regarding Angel Reese of the Atlanta Dream."
Brondello apologized to Reese on social media Saturday. Read more: https://t.co/HPpZYWQZR6
I get what he's saying but it's just bonkers insulting to hear people continue to say about the WNBA, "If you want to be treated as a serious league..." as if they aren't serious and it's a privilege they're allowed at the big kids' table.
@Betsycashmoney I'd say he was a Kyrie level talent. Never really on convos for world best but really elite for a long time and really rated for his skill (bend like Beckham was a thing)
Best case scenario for me Bron picks Cavs. Cavs tade Strus to open the MLE. Three team deal with the Hornets and Spurs with Keldon going Hornets for some additional draft compensation. Spurs get an additional 3&D guy in Strus.
NEW: The Philadelphia 76ers now have the 2nd best chance to land LeBron James, via Kalshi:
40% — Cavs
21% — Sixers
19% — Warriors
12% — Heat
4% — Nuggets
4% — T-Wolves
2% — Knicks
And again. The players vote for their top 4 guards. They don’t rank the guards 1-50. So Caitlin being 11th just means she’s not in a lot of players top 4. And in a league with Paige, Olivia, Rhyne, Lish, Sonia, Mabrey, etc. That’s very understandable.
@seeratsohi Im sure you already know this but these results don’t show where players were actually rank their peers. They just show how many ballots had them in the top four. If the vote had been for a top five instead, CC and JY could easily have ended up 2nd and 3rd. But we'll never know
