@zra_research Have you seen Flipgrd? Its an easy interface for quick video sharing with flexible limits. We used it in a class to facilitate weekly discussion of readings. Also padlet and LMS forums for discussion.

Normalize non-toxic work cultures that balance w/ life while ALSO normalizing that M-F, 9-5 doesn't work for everyone. Normalize setting boundaries and personalized norms w/ supervisors.
This. All of this. OP did this for faculty of one discipline at a handful of elite universities in the US. I wanna do it for an entire field (or several).

Push it further: the language is also cissexist and heteronormative. #nonbinary#genderfluid#intersex and other broadly considered #trans identities are erased. As another poster suggests: parents, etc. is more inclusive.
@dt__jacques Definitely. As much as I wish I'd figure out how, I engage more critically when handwriting marginalia. I know I can digitally highlight and make comments, but retrieving those isn’t intuitive.
In 5th grade, my son asked me “Mama, is there something wrong with me?” My heart broke, but I kept calm to say no and ask why. White woman teacher in his favorite class (math) wouldn’t stop calling his name. Always on him. He’d be doing same as others but she’d call him out. 1/11
