@tekprime99 Exceeding the IRMAA threshold depends on what accounts she pulls the 10,000 from. If from Roth, no problem. If from a taxable one, there is an issue. And then you get into the estate portion and what type of accounts you leave for heirs. It gets complicated.

@tekprime99 10,000 per month would put her over the IRMAA threshold and therefore would increase Medicare payments when she turns 65. There is a 2 year look back period. DR always mentions the simple math. Financial decisions for seniors is a very complex formula.
