@finalfantasyvii Cid was always my favorite from the OG. Loved his entire story arc. Went from a mean cuss to the literal leader of the group for a time. He was never a "dashing rouge." He's a foul-mouthed airman with a temper and a bad smoking habit. Skinwalker Cid ain't it. Worse than Red XIII.

@Sebbywebz I don't particularly mind Ultima's design, but he almost looks like just another Bahamut. I don't like Sapphire's new design. I really like the expressive eyes from the OG. The new one looks like an angler fish.

@ITalkOfChrist @the_churchnews I've been thinking about this a lot. EQ this past Sunday was mostly the teacher posing a question centered around a theme and then having the elders comment. The comments were often long winded, somewhat worldly, and often not supported by scripture. 1/2

@Sebbywebz It reeks of a corporate response. Square's shareholders decided FF should be more action oriented a while ago and they're already in too deep with 7 Remake part 3 to change things, so they created their own narrative to justify their current course.

@Kim28791 @MeatyMuffin009 @maximilian_ If you see a movie based on a book you've read, does you knowing how the story unfolds get in the way of you enjoying the movie? I think it's a very similar principle.

@maximilian_ At the end of the day, I'm more convinced now that a 1:1 remake with extra context to the existing story and enhancements to the gameplay and graphics would have been far preferable. The Re games aren't a total loss for me, but hindsight is 20/20.

@maximilian_ I think the devs going for exactly what they want has been the problem. I've played Remake and Rebirth twice, and the flaws present in the new story additions are glaring to me now. And the way they're presented is just as bad if not worse...

@PicturesFoIder I was on a TV set yesterday with a few mid-20s zoomers, and outside of hearing them say "bruh" "low key" and a few other current day-isms, they were normal. Every generation has their own slang, so I hope the above is more abnormal than not.

@moonchild23580 I'm a late bloomer. Had varying success with dating these past few years. I feel like I might be getting close to something and my outlook is way better than it used to be. Still not trying to rush anything though. Patience is key!

@PeacemakingSt I'm simply a health-conscious person, so I don't touch any of it. I still enjoy a sugary treat from time to time, just not in drink form. It also saves a lot of money, which I'm a big fan of.
