Em um aquário no Japão, após o horário de fechamento, alguns filhotes de lontra espertinhos ajudam seu avô a arrumar os brinquedos deles. Como recompensa, ele dá cubos de gelo a eles.
One year ago today, Voddie Baucham, Jr. went home to be with the Lord. This clip is from the final interview we filmed with Voddie. We’re grateful for the ways God used his preaching ministry to impact so many lives. Please join us in praying for his family today.
Been in Revelation chapter 5 at church and so naturally, I threw the song "Is He Worthy" (Shane + Shane edition of course) onto the Ascent to Zion playlist in my car this morning
Then, whaddayaknow!–we sang the song for the first time today in service
He is indeed worthy
John Piper: “We are less deserving than frogs.”
Jesus: “You are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:31
Who should we believe? Jesus or John Piper?
The Calvinist emphasizes how undeserving we are. Jesus reminds us of our value to God.
Danny Thursby is an elder at our church. Our family has the greatest regard for this dear family. ❤️ Would you please give this video a listen and read the thread. Would you also please share his post, pray for this family, and if you feel led, donate? Thank you.

Staten Island man struck by lightning while walking to a dentist appointment.
Thomas Fahmy says he is grateful to be alive and went to church on Sunday to thank God for giving him another chance.
"Once the lightning bolt struck me, the initial sensations that I had throughout my whole body were completely unprecedented; tingling, numbness, pain, just I feel this burning sensation."
"No burns. I had multiple body exams; no burns at all. I went to church on Sunday to say thank you, God."
I am really excited about the new generation of Christian men who take health, food, and more seriously.
And especially excited to see a reformed publisher of all places pushing a major book on the subject.
Butter brings almost nothing to the table nutritionally. It's a delicious luxury that you would be best to minimise. Yet, hordes of people now think it's a valuable source of vitamins and the elixir of good health.
What a bizarro world we now live in.
There's been some T or F questions going around about cov theology so I thought I'd jump into the fray (fun?)
T or F?
Every covenant that God establishes with man, including the covenant of works, is founded upon God's promises
“Now think…”
No.
Butter literally was foundational to modern nutritional science.
Vitamins A and D were discovered through the finding that cod liver oil and butter both cured irreversible blindness.
At first it was thought they were one vitamin.
The discovery that they were two different vitamins came from the failure of butter to cure rickets.
It later turned out that butter did cure rickets if the cows were raised in the sunshine, but not when they were raised indoors.
When Sir Edward Mellanby discovered the role of vitamin A in preventing infections, the foundational experiment showed that butter and cod liver oil both prevented infections but olive oil didn’t.
Because olive oil doesn’t have vitamins A or D.
No one NEEDS to eat butter.
No one NEEDS to eat cod liver oil.
If you get enough sunshine, you don’t need the vitamin D in cod liver oil.
If you do eat cod liver oil, you don’t need the vitamin A in butter.
If you are good at converting carotenoids in red, orange, yellow, and green vegetables to vitamin A, you don’t need the vitamin A in butter.
If you eat liver, you can be bad at converting carotenoids and still not need the vitamin A in butter.
But believing that butter is a source of nutrients is not a modern internet fad.
It’s literally one of the most central and foundational observations of nutrition science made by the pioneers who created the discipline.
Do you view your God this way?
"Therefore Yahweh waits with longing to be gracious to you, And therefore He is on high to have compassion on you" Isaiah 30:18
