I watch thoughtful creators or follow Twitter users that have good insight. Its also pretty obvious when people dont know what they're talking about so I just ignore em and move on

Once you realize most people don't care about the ins and outs of storytelling as much as you do it'll make blocking out bad takes so much easier

That and the general db audience unfortunately only cares starting from the saiyan saga onwards. Itll be a cold day in hell before most of them even check out OG DB to even reference it. Its more likely theyd reference naruto

He has some bangers but other shonen tend to do way better in that department. I will say that's good in that you can't say its carried by fights like other shonen lol

Gohan was the one that almost sold because he wanted play with his food, which he gets flack for. To your point tho, everybody in the Cell saga does dumb shit which is fair

He allowed him to give him a power boost and selfishly fought goku for no reason but pride, released the ultimate evil which was completely avoidable btw, blows himself up in vain and people clap because he realized he was wrong

I think what mappa did was very dumb because there was no way they could have done it in one go

@Jotaro623722 @happerexxx @TheHeroOfSeinen That's fair. My personal beef with the post universe reset color versions is that they make the art look worse. The art just looses so much detail from the shading and line work at times. If you like it tho, thats cool, just my two cents

@happerexxx @Jotaro623722 @TheHeroOfSeinen I avoid color mangas in general. Parts 1-6 are passable but from what I've seen of 7 or 8 it looks so murky. People can enjoy manga how they like but black and white will always look better to me. Especially because whoever colors it doesnt have the same vision as the artist

The only things i strongly disagree with are his hate for Uchihas and how Naruto wins 1v1s against other MCs because animators thought he'd look cool doing wing chun for some frames. His takes on non naruto things are kinda crazy tho

They can choose to stick to what toriyama or toei wrote over 20+ years ago. They like what they like and others can like the new stuff
