Whilst the national picture regarding prosecution is not good. Some really innovative, positive changes are taking place. Albeit, in a localised way. These new models need to be celebrated and analysed @JBDyslexic . Thank you. @johnpringdns@HateCrimeHealy@LeahFBurch

Should I share my disability or condition with my line manager?
We’d like to say “yes” every time, however we realise that things aren’t always that simple.
We recommend that you discuss with your local DSN, a Federation or union rep, or a trusted colleague.

Disabled Toilets are misnomers. They should be more correctly labeled accessible toilets. If you have a hidden disability you may still need access. You shouldn't need to prove your need. It's all in language.
I should wear this as a placard around my neck when I go to events. Last night, a lady was sitting outside the disabled toilet and told me I couldn’t use it because "I don’t look disabled." Her attitude changed when I showed her my stoma bag, but it should never have gotten to that point. Even when staff stepped in, I was still directed to use the “ladies toilets.” I was left in tears because I felt so humiliated and frustrated. I'm so sick of being treated with such disrespect and abuse from members of the public and staff for simply wanting to use the toilet.

I wouldn't normally make a political comment, but is it me that has noticed that lots of things are coming home to roost for current political parties, mainly current government, policing ,Post Office, Waspi, treatment of Disabled People.
