The Speaker of the Flemish Parliament @freyabos summons the British 🇬🇧 Ambassador in #Brussels regarding the #UK-entry ban against MP Filip Dewinter @fdw_vb Freya Van den Bossche: “If a dissenting opinion is the only reason for an entry ban in the #UK, that is shocking.”

@mancityhardcore You managed to cut out Soucek flattening Havertz at the near post as the ball comes in, there’s any amount of whataboutery if you look for it…
A final piece of advice from Holly Butcher - written the day before she passed away from cancer at just 27:
“It’s a strange thing knowing you’re going to die young.
At 26, I thought I had time…
To fall in love.
Start a family.
Grow old.
But cancer doesn’t care about plans.
Now, I understand how fragile life really is. Every single day is a gift, not a guarantee.
I’m not writing this to scare you. I’m writing to remind you: really live.
Stop stressing over little things. Be kind to your body- move it, nourish it, stop criticizing it. One day you’ll wish you had appreciated it.
Go outside.
Look at the sky.
Feel the sun.
Just be.
Spend less time chasing “stuff” - more time making memories. Don’t skip moments with people you love.
Laugh more.
Write a note.
Tell someone you love them.
Complain less.
Give more.
Helping others brings more joy than anything you can buy.
Be present.
Put your phone down.
Show up - really show up.
You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need a perfect body, or a perfect life.
Just follow what makes your heart light up. Say no to what drains you. Make changes when you need to.
And please - donate blood. I wouldn’t have had that extra year without it. And that year gave me memories I’ll hold close… forever.
Thank you for reading this.
Live your life well.
And maybe… we’ll meet again someday.”

A gardener designed the largest building on Earth. He got the idea from a lily pad.
1851. Joseph Paxton, head gardener at Chatsworth House, designed the Crystal Palace.
1,848 feet long. 293,000 glass panes. Built in eight months.
The largest enclosed space on Earth.
He wasn't an architect. He was a gardener who studied the ribs of a giant lily pad and realised nature had already solved the engineering problem.
He stood his seven-year-old daughter on a lily leaf to prove its strength.
The Great Exhibition opened inside his glass palace. 100,000 objects from 25 countries. The first World's Fair. Six million people came.
But when it opened, only the rich could get in. Five shillings...
A full day's wage.
Working people could see the glass palace from the street. They couldn't walk through the door.
Then they dropped the price to one shilling.
Special trains ran from every factory town in England. Four and a half million working people walked through the doors. Seventy-five percent of every visitor.
The profits built the Victoria and Albert Museum. The Science Museum. The Natural History Museum. The Royal Albert Hall. Imperial College.
Everything on that road in South Kensington exists because a gardener had an idea and working people walked through the door.
They opened the door. Help us keep it open.

Some corrections:
You inherited 2% inflation. It doubled in 12 months after you became Chancellor. It is still 50% above the rate you inherited and 50% above target. It should fall to target 2% this summer. So two years to get back to where you started! What’s to boast about that?
Interest rates have been falling everywhere. UK cuts, which you don’t control, have been fewer and smaller because of your inflation record. We still have highest interest rate in G7. The Bank has made some cuts for the simple reason the economy is flat on its back. Well done.
Borrowing is slowly falling from a very high base. Almost six years after the pandemic-induced recession, we’re still borrowing around 4% GDP. And borrowing costs are the highest in the G7.
Retail sales are up in recent months. We’ll see how long that’s sustained. But the hospitality and construction industries are in crisis. Plus our massive services sector is stagnant.
UK fastest G7 economy? That’s simply a bare-faced lie. We grew by 0.1% in Q3 2025; and another 0.1% in Q4. End of.
🚨Everyone on the right you been warned🚨

This lady below is attending protests set up by the “far right” and taking pictures then going online to find your social media to then find where you work, for then to contact your work place to get you sacked. She spouts lies to get you fired/sacked, she’s even gone to the full extent of making up lies to people’s employers to get them the sacked.
Now if you’re still reading I’m going to take you back to Grenfell Tower. Where this very same lady ⬇️ claimed to be the voice for the victims only for the family of the victims to then distance themselves from her after they knew she was financially exploiting them for money and political gain. Don’t believe me read the article her⬇️.
