In this week's episode, I talk to Paula Thomsen and Dan Trajano, with https://t.co/6SpE4gff9K. We talk about the far-reaching effects of Climate Change, how we can attack it from all sides, and how there's still hope for our future. https://t.co/iI7yikHz0f
I'm proud to be endorsed by @ctphealthcare. Together we will work to make healthcare cheaper for every Minnesotan by lowering prices for prescription drugs, bringing down the costs of health insurance, protecting reproductive freedom, and working to get Single-Payer Healthcare
I just dropped a new episode of Enlightened State. I talk to Erin Zamoff with @FairVoteMN about the importance of Ranked Choice Voting, at top issue on the ballot this year! Listen anywhere podcasts are hosted. https://t.co/Enm2zXGitR

@CalltoActivism "Over the past 25 years, the healthcare industry spent $5B+ in lobbying and contributions. In 2020, the NRA spent ~$5M+ lobbying & ~$23M through its PAC. Last year, the oil & gas industry spent $120M on lobbying. Why is our democracy failing us? Answer: Big money in politics."
You might know that we're heading towards a possible rail strike.
What most of the media might not tell you is why.
Railroad workers have been working for 3 years without a contract, and now railroad companies are holding the economy hostage to deny them a single sick day. 🧵
Billionaires and their Super PACs must not be able to buy Democratic Party primaries. If Democrats really believe in democracy and campaign finance reform, we must ban SuperPacs in primaries. I stand with progressive reformers advocating for this change.
Last week, Shakopee’s Minnesota District 55a Representative Erik Mortensen tweeted a video of President Biden as Hitler with swastikas in the background dubbed with nazi hate speech.
It is terrible he shared it but even worse that he refuses to delete and apologize for it.
Our country does not work for working families. We must create a fairer, better future for ALL workers. That means:
💰 Livable wages
🏥 Paid family medical leave benefits
👶🏼 Affordable childcare
👨🏽🤝👨🏼 The right to unionize free of intimidation
📚 Holding businesses accountable
I have been talking with policy experts and other smart people to become educated on potential solutions to systemic problems. You can listen to my conversation with Ken Pentel about the GPI on my YouTube channel or my Podcast:

I couldn't afford to go to college. My girlfriend could only go because she qualified for government aid.
#studentloanforgiveness will give people the freedom to pursue the lives they want, but it's only the first step. Now we must make college affordable and accessible for all.
Give trillions of dollars to a handful of billionaires and they'll applaud you for saving the economy. Give a couple billion to help working Americans stay afloat during record inflation & a broken economy and you'll be consumed by hellfire for sure.
I'm happy to announce my campaign's endorsement from @PPact! This election isn't just about protecting access to safe abortion for Minnesotans, but for everyone in neighboring states who have lost it.
Thanks to @BrendanForMN, @AGEllison and all our incredible volunteers who showed up all day long to help us have conversations with our neighbors all across our district. /🧵
When people feel secure in their jobs, health and education, they have the freedom to emotionally invest in things that matter more in life, such as family, friends and leisure time. They have more opportunity to invest in themselves and their own projects.
