RSI injuries are simple to treat, but not always easy.
It takes patience, an understanding of the real lifestyle, physical and mental aspects that are contributing your pain and function
But once those become clear and you learn more about your own body & health...
It's just a matter of time.

One of the sneakiest culprits for a drop in your aim performance is tendinitis! If you're still blaming your back pain on your age we have some great news for you!
🥳You're wrong!🥳
Here are the real reasons your back is likely hurting🧵
Vigorous exercise forces the muscles to produce lactate, which then travels to the brain, triggering the production of key neurotransmitters like serotonin and norepinephrine.
Low levels of norepinephrine and serotonin are linked to anxiety as they hinder our capacity to manage stress, often resulting in a state of learned helplessness.
Analysis of 15 studies found that exercise, particularly vigorous exercise, is effective in alleviating symptoms of anxiety.

Workout Tip:
When you finish a workout do a few rounds of Box Breathing.
Here's why...
When you exercise you put yourself in a stressed out state (aka. sympathetic).
To speed recovery and decrease stress we want our bodies to be in a relaxed state (aka. parasympathetic).
The best way to do this is to use box breathing to control your nervous system.
How to do box breathing
1. Lie on your back or sit cross-legged.
2. Breathe in through your nose as you slowly count to four in your head.
3. Hold your breath for a count of four.
4. Exhale for another count of four.
5. Hold your breath again for a count of four.
Repeat this for 3 to 4 rounds or 5 minutes.
After you're done you'll notice a massive difference in how your body and brain operate.
It really gets on my nerve when people associate all wrist pain with having carpal tunnel.
Sure, we all have the anatomical structure, but we don't all have carpal tunnel syndrome 🤷🏼♂️🖐🏼
If you want to learn more about carpal tunnel syndrome check out this article written by our Occupational Therapist @BrettBecker1
