Mechanical mulching has been used to manage bushfire fuels on this site at Wheatsheaf in the Central Highlands. This work being led by CFA’s vegetation management team is making real impact on fuels and the environment. Love the tiny native orchids growing thru the mulch.
RUOK day was an opportunity to recognise CFA’s dedicated peer support team who are available to our firefighters 24/7. Thanks Marie and team for doing what you do

November rainfall across Victoria varied significantly. Regular cold fronts brought above average falls to parts of the south, but failed to bring relief to the north and east. Keep an eye out for our climate summary this week https://t.co/lw2Pha64i2
Our 15 yr old border collie Sasha waiting for her morning walk. She does this every morning. This is her way of saying being ok takes effort. Fresh air and exercise are core ingredients of well-being. Thanks Sasha for helping me stay well 🐕 and in your own way asking RUOK?
