@mumbletwits I've known Andrew Hastie for 25 years. He always was a decent & upstanding individual.
Faux patriots attack in ignorance & bad faith.
BR-S is obviously innocent until proven guilty but does anyone honestly think he didn't act as described - whether he is found guilty or not?
@hughriminton@MaryLloyd4@JacquelineMaley Is it really about wanting to junk the rules, or is it about leadership? When you run out of leaders, when the rules are being applied by hollow execs, time to go fight for the truth about this moment in time, making mistakes along the way.
@citrinowicz Well the Administration is capable of kicking the responsibility over to Congress and cherry-picking what it wants to prosecute going forward.
๐บ๐ธ๐ฎ๐ท๐ต๐ฐ The feelings of shock and disappointment on the face of Pakistan's Prime Minister, after he was informed by the Iranian delegation they are leaving after Trump threatened them.
@DanielMOakes As someone who has done 18 years in the military, has a Masters in Security & Strategy, and is currently helping to deliver a WWII Firepower Seminar Series because of how poorly prepared Australia is, you might say I find your response to his statement too quick to dismiss.
@RadioFreeTom@PhillipsPOBrien I went to reply to @SpencerGuard and found he had blocked me. A strange action for someone who seems to want to make arguments in the public space. I always engaged respectfully, and as he knows I found him compelling post Oct 7 in Israel.
However, he is wishful thinking now.
@hughriminton There was no imminent threat, and the Admin hasn't really tried to suggest there was. The best they argue is the "intention", a failed justification for kinetic action. Hence they are failing much quicker than Vietnam, Iraq & Afghanistan.
@heatherewart1 He wouldn't recognise this world. He wouldn't recognise a world where the U.S. is torching the global order. He would recognise the strain on the Coalition where its major ally is rogue, is revolutionairy. Australia and Australian institutions are adjusting.
