From first throws to his first 90, @BombardierEthan crushed his RTT.
With @BriLinneroothPT we used a @DrivelinePulse sensor, velo caps, and ODW goals, while monitoring forearm strength with @FlexProGrip.
Mostly, we avoided guessing.

Jon Harvey (‘26, MN) showed one of the better breaking balls at today’s event. Spinning a sweeping breaking ball consistently over 2700 RPM. FB at 82-84 and feel for locating a mid 70’s CH. #Minndoor
10+ years I’ve been lifting buddies with @BriLinneroothPT . She is one of the most motivated and consistent people I’ve met. Watching her grow @twincitiesortho location inside @MASHPerform has me beaming with pride. Friday lift power cleans can’t be beat 📈🔔

Partnering with TCO is an enormous step forward for us in our mission to raise the standard in human performance.
A one stop shop for athletes to reach their full potential 🔔.
If an athlete bragged about only getting 4 hours of sleep per night, I'd know he wasn't serious about his sport or performance.
Yet... in the workplace, we accept this bragging as a sign of someone who is dedicated.
The situations are the same. Both are sacrificing performance.
Most people don't move the amount we're supposed to move.
By virtue of that, when you start doing so there will be social friction.
When this occurs, think of Krishnamurti...
"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society."
We don’t do cute little female athlete ACL “injury prevention” programs that only consist of balance drills and mini bands.
We load. We progress. We focus on high performance because when we chase performance, injury reduction is a nice byproduct.

A new study found that just one 5min deliberate cold exposure session (20C/68F; which isn’t that cold!) elevated mood & reduced negative affect & changed resting state connectivity in brain networks associated with positive affect (for the “better”). https://t.co/Fa137RMUIW
We need to see more of this.
Optimal weight is first and foremost dependent on the *frame* (i.e. bone & organ mass) of the athlete. This is relatively fixed & can vary markedly among different types of athletes.
Optimal weight = the right amount of muscle for your bone and organ mass.
IOW, lighter is *not* always better.
I cannot stress this enough:
Rehab follows the same rules and exists in the same realm as regular strength training.
If your rehab plan has no semblance of progressive overload, find a new provider.
