🦠 Periprosthetic Joint Infection (PJI) has a 4-year mortality of 11.6%, higher than some cancers! 📊🔬

🔹 Healthy 67-year-old: 5% mortality (PJI = 2.3x risk)
🔹 Melanoma: 7% mortality (PJI = 1.7x risk)
🔹 Prostate Cancer: 2% mortality (PJI = 5.8x risk)
🔹 Breast Cancer: 10% mortality (PJI = similar)
