Just published my first post on Medium, feedback welcome! About #failure along the path to #success, & learning how to fail the RIGHT way. Crucial skills for anyone, but especially those learning to #code, #makers, & #startup#entrepreneurs. #100DaysOfCode https://t.co/uwc6059UWO
@futuristflower If we’re being honest, there is no objective measurement for consciousness, so if/when AI ever does become conscious, we will have no way to know.
New video series: Physics Informed Machine Learning!
Physics may be embedded into AI/ML in 5 stages:
1 choose what to Model
2 curate training Data
3 design an Architecture
4 craft a Loss Function, and
5 implement Optimization Algorithm to train the model

@LongFormMath Or better yet, a combined math and coding class, where you apply math concepts in real scenarios to create a game or an app.
If I had classes like that, I would have fallen in love with math a lot sooner instead of dreading another day of rote memorization.
May I invite you to a fun thread about a delightful quirk of relativity theory? Starting with a simple fact about rotations, I’ll hope to give you some intuition about something that’s considered wildly counterintuitive: velocity addition. Intrigued? Buckle up!
You are under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. You are here to create yourself, continuously.
@AlyssaM_InfoSec Theres actually 2 correct possible answers on this one:
- 12 (if the rules are n*n+1)
- 18 (if the rules are to multiply by x starting at 10 and decrementing by 1 each step)
Can’t rule either of them out based on the info provided so they’re both correct 😁
@traversymedia Funny enough, I actually prefer courses on Udemy that have FEWER hours than similar ones for the same price.
Time is limited, so if one course can explain everything you need in less time, then I'd prefer that vs a really long course. (as long as its quality content of course)
@thomasbrushdev Oh this sounds right up my alley! Most of my writing / editing have had aspects of psychological horror. It’s definitely a favorite genre (I’m actually reading Shutter Island right now.)
I’ll touch up one of my writing samples and send it over.
Hey @DataScience Twitter! If you're changing careers to DS, join our DS career change project group. We tackle 1-2 projects weekly, practicing #EDA, #ML, #DataViz, #Kaggle and more. Guided tutorials too. The best way to learn is HANDS-ON w/ projects. #100DaysOfML#100DaysOfMLCode
@TheN0rthC0le Ugh yes, very annoying. I usually select all cells in Excel and convert format to “Text” to get rid of comma formatting on the numbers.
Commas within text fields...that’s another story. Then it’s time for a new delimiter.
@CharithRathnay4 Gotcha. I haven’t run into many issues with C# garbage collection but I guess it’s good to have options.
You’ve been making great progress in Unity btw, keep it up!
@haysstanford Is it OK to love both?
I love the tangible, tactile nature of paper books, smell of the pages, permanence.
But also love the portability & minimalism of ebooks. I can carry a library of ebooks in my back pocket!
So in the end, portability and minimalism usually wins out.
