A message to all sane Republicans:
He pardoned 1,600 violent criminals.
You said nothing.
He bulldozed the East Wing.
You said nothing.
He interfered with the release of the Epstein files. You said nothing.
He took over the Kennedy Center and renamed it after himself. You said nothing.
He accepted a $400 million airplane as a personal gift. You said nothing.
He threatened Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Greenland, Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil. You said nothing.
He tariffed just about everyone but Russia, causing inflation and instability worldwide. You said nothing.
He attacked a nation during mediated negotiations. You said nothing.
His ill-conceived war killed 175 children on day one. You said nothing.
He alienated and insulted our allies. You said nothing.
His ICE Army terrorized and murdered U.S. citizens. You said nothing.
He committed murder on the high seas. You said nothing.
He co-opted the Justice Department and directed it to prosecute his political enemies. You said nothing.
It’s time to start talking.
Stop scrolling and hear this: fertiliser prices are surging due to Trump’s reckless war. And you're about to feel it in your weekly food bill.
@SarahDykeLD breaks it down. ⬇️
This week I spoke to @BBCRadio4 about the outbreak of Ebola in the DRC & now Uganda. Cuts to UK foreign aid is hindering our ability to help stop the ongoing spread, and indeed recognise the outbreak at source, which is a great cause for concern
The UK is only 55% food secure.
Meanwhile, England is now the only country in Europe where farmers don't receive financial support from its government to produce food.
With wars raging across the world, the @LibDems are demanding that the Government take food security seriously
I would like to see govt action. My child has been labelled "persistent absentee" from picking up infections at school. 4th one this yr last wk. He wants to attend.
Children deserve to attend school, safely, and there are solutions.
Thankyou Baroness Linforth.

Tonight, Labour MPs face a simple choice on our King’s Speech amendment for a UK-EU Customs Union: vote to cut bills, boost trade and strengthen our security, or choose to continue the Brexit mayhem.
21 kicked out. 28 defected. 39 resigned. 5 suspended. 1 disqualified. 5 lost seats. That's approximately 99 Reform UK councillors and representatives who have left the party.
22 of them since the local elections just two weeks ago. The party claims "some of the strongest vetting in the country."
Here's the full list 👇
🟣 MAKERFIELD: I suspect Robert Kenyon won't last long as Reform candidate. When Kenyon stood here in 2024, the anti-fascist group Searchlight tweeted he was Facebook friend of Gary Raikes, leader of New British Union, reincarnation of Oswald Mosley's British Union of Fascists
The @WHO declared the Ebola outbreak affecting the #DRC and #Uganda a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
The outbreak involves the Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus, for which there is currently no approved vaccine.

@tompfoster Populism is the offering of simplistic solutions to complex problems, usually by placing blame for our problems on ‘outsiders’ of one kind or another. By definition this is both practically and morally awful . If this doesn’t apply to you, then you’re not a populist.
When Allyson Felix became pregnant, Nike threatened to cut her sponsorship contract by almost 70% because of her pregnancy.
They told her:
“You should know your place… and just run.”
Amid all this, at seven months pregnant, Allyson had to undergo an emergency C-section due to a serious complication.
Her baby girl spent over a month in the neonatal intensive care unit.
But two years later, Allyson qualified for her fifth Olympic Games, with her daughter in the stands cheering her on.
Allyson left Nike.
And she founded her own shoe brand: Saysh One.
At the Tokyo Olympics, she ran wearing her own sneakers, carrying the motto:
“I know exactly where my place is.”
With 11 medals, she surpassed Carl Lewis and became the most decorated American track and field athlete in history.
And to all women, she gave this message:
“I raised my voice and built this company for you, so that you’ll never have to train at 4:30 in the morning, five months pregnant, just to hide it from your sponsor.” ❤️
Wonderful to see the @LibDems gain seats all across Britain in the local elections. When others try to divide & build barriers, it’s liberal forces that take over responsibility. Congratulations to @EdwardJDavey & all LibDems!

If Labour is going to spend the next few months arguing about who should be PM, they should at least agree on one thing: these damaging red lines on Europe have to go.
A customs union is vital to grow our economy and to tackle the cost-of-living crisis.
