I love this context for introducing Least Common Multiple to students. How many hot dogs and buns should he buy?

Any lessons for finding the area of triangles/composite figures, volume of triangular/rectangular pyramids, or S.A. out there? #6thgrade 📐🎉

[Briana Baker @Briana6thMath]

@mr_stadel Yes, they have completed those, also.

[Briana Baker @Briana6thMath]

@mr_stadel I had two different sets of clotheslines so they were in groups of 9 with12 different equations to sort according to the solution

[Briana Baker @Briana6thMath]

@mr_stadel I told them x could have different values depending on the equation. They competed to get their equation under the solution.

[Briana Baker @Briana6thMath]

@mr_stadel we're working on 6.EE.5 so I made 2sets of these clotheslines&made them compete finding the solution.

@MrsKCharlton @Desmos thank you so much!

[Briana Baker @Briana6thMath]

@MrsKCharlton @Desmos do you mind sending me a link to that desmos? I have been trying to find a good one for my students, but I'm new to it
