Call me a Christian or don't. As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ, I've heard it both ways. Doesn't matter to me. I know Jesus IS the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the world, and that He saves us through His blood.

Without the Resurrection, the New Testament is a lie, and He was a liar. Paul settled this 2,000 years ago: "If Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain."

You can love a teacher named Jesus. You can't have Christ without an empty tomb.

So James, do you agree with your pastor? Because loving "Jesus" while rejecting the Resurrection sounds a lot like the Marxist who says he loves America but wants to tear up the founding documents and the system that freed more people from poverty, slavery, and tyranny than any in history.
