It is murder, but you prevent a miserable existence to be born and prevent creation of a viable one. You are killing a potencial life in any case.

But you can decide to abort this one to conceive another healthy one. Either you prevent one from living and I thing it is more human to alow to live to the healthier one.

@I_am_a_gimp @IterIntellectus @SydSteyerhart I lookd at the stats. Screening is 90% accurate and the invasive "baby sample" is 99,9%+ accurate. So if screening is possitive, take the invasive one and you will know. Again the life of this child or the one prevented to be conceived are both equaly prevented to live.

What if a kid which could be born a year after was the world peace bring but was not born because the down syndrom one? Both is playing god the first one is just not apparent.

Prevent bad genetics for the person wiith them to manifest and you allow better (I mean for the persons happiness) genetics to be able to take it's place.

If you do not let the defective child live you pave a way for another possible healthy child to come into this world which would not have happened if the defective one took al the energy and resouces of parents.
