Really looking forward to seeing Rhodri, my youngest, going back to his panto roots, as the Magic Mirror and a lead dancer in this production @phylipharries @craigpainting@Madi_MacMahon@EllisKerkhoven
We are currently seeking participants in the UK with #FND who experience *either* functional motor symptoms *or* functional seizures for our study on their shared/distinct causes and mechanisms. Please get in touch if interested or RT. Thank you @FNDHopeUK@FNDAction@NEAD_UK
@alisonstemp Do you have to show the world the tomatoes are finally ripening when you know they are my favourite and my best 🙄
(defo not a Charlie and Lola quote ahah)
Dear FND community, I am currently making a short film about my #FND journey & I also want to include footage of patients with severe symptoms - such as walking issues and seizures. If you have any footage & would be interested then do get in touch , many thanks
Just got off the phone from #UberEats after issues with a #mcdelivery order - great experience from the support service after a very disappointing order.
Found the only way to contact is via phone - made me think how inacceptable this system could be for some users
How many times do you hear things like,
"You look healthy".
“You don’t look sick”
“You just need to get out more”
The list could go on and on.
Words like that can cut deep, but we know that they are not true.
We keep up the fight and we just keep going. Why?
Because we are WARRIORS! Gentle hugs 🤗🤗🤗🤗

3 yrs ago I couldn’t spend more than two hours away from my home
2 yrs ago I couldn’t drive or shower by myself
Last yr I couldn’t do outings alone
This yr I had a glass of wine and a girls night sleepover

I am looking to recruit participants for this exciting research project I am conducting as part of my undergraduate degree. If you fit the description and would like to participate/learn more please get in touch. #NEAD#FND#PNES#research#patientexperience
Even though I am embarking on a research project surrounding this, I cannot deny, I also felt the fear of tweeting about the disorder. #FND#NEAD#PNES#NonEpilepticAttackDisorder
There are many symptoms and conditions that can have a big effect on ability to walk - and many of them aren't easy to see. So it's never ok to assume 'looks ok' means 'shouldn't use disabled facilities.'

“The moment you realise you will not be able to access the right services, can be so scary and FEAR CAN SOMETIMES EXACERBATE SYMPTOMS!”
This is what it’s really like to live with #FND.
April is FND Awareness Month 🧠
