Yesterday, my literacy students picked some random picture cards (targeting Fundations skills) and used words they know to make up their own sentences!

I was impressed by their creativity and spelling skills! 🌠📝💭

These kids have worked hard to earn their "Under the Sea Day" by passing 100 iReady math lessons!
Goldfish, Swedish Fish, and Finding Nemo! 🐠🐬🌊

And it's extra special that they earned it just in time for my birthday 🥳

Put the "fun" in fundations today by doing some exercises and yoga poses to identify short or long vowel sounds in words!
