I generally post about the ongoing pandemic and, of course, basset hounds. I gave up on politics. I stay anonymous because what I post may surprise or embarrass my friends, family, or employer who don’t agree with my opinions. Believe it or not. Makes no difference anyway.
@mtgreenee Spreading Covid was, and still is, completely free of charge. Ask your doctor if Covid is right for you or your children. The unmasked health care professionals at your local clinic can probably hook you up immediately. Just relax and breathe deeply.
@KenCaptn20114 People who didn’t take the shots but also haven’t done anything to prevent infections and think they are somehow spike-free after 6 years of exposure should do a little reading on viral persistence and residual spike in the brain & meninges before claiming to be “pure bloods”.
@Earth___Crisis@kananaskinyeti We protected ours into adult years. They got their degrees online. One got their drivers license even. They could choose to leave, find roommates, cash out what’s left of their college funds. But for now they are okay staying with us and being Covid safe. Enjoy it while you can.
@BrandonFugal Everyone thinks the bioweapon is just a cold now. One they are willing to get over and over again. Wave 13 will hit later this summer. Thousands will die silently into the Fall. Apathy: That’s the real crime.
@DNIGabbard That news is about as fresh as a Foghat concert. Plus everyone has convinced themselves the bioweapon is just a cold anyway. Wave 13 incoming.
@Kenneth33071904 My “saved for later” list has at least 200 items that I will probably never buy. But thanks to data centers, that list will last forever!
@sherrod_im@NataliaHEmanuel@nytimes I worked with dozens of people for 25 years. When I left I thought we were all BFF’s. I’ve reached out but I only hear from a couple now and then.
@NataliaHEmanuel@nytimes I like working alone. Let the extroverts commute into the office if they want. Meanwhile my productivity has doubled because I can work uninterrupted and while attending meetings online. Lunchtime bike ride, walk the dog, or mow the lawn, and then back to work until 5.
@Kenneth33071904 In the 1990’s making $13.50/hr I could afford a top floor 1 BR apartment along the river trail, pay my student loan, save for a house, and still have enough money for titanium bike parts.
@envidreamz@1goodtern To make matters worse his dog started having micro strokes or seizures after that third infection and later died from “incurable” kennel cough. I’m pretty sure that was covid-related as well.
