Long journey back from the North after a packed couple of days looking at venues for next year and catching up with some brilliant operators. Big thanks to Pedro (aka Peter Hunter) for the hospitality and to the WHP crew for a fantastic dinner last night – always great to reconnect.

The day kicked off with a mid-morning meeting with Six til Six, followed by the Trade Communications session with some solid updates on where we’re at and what’s happening across the night time economy and events space.

Early afternoon was all about future plans with Jonathan Hancock – exciting conversations around filming, new opportunities for Vibrant, and the beginnings of a new podcast concept. Then onto a session with the SE crew about a potential new autumn project that’s going to blow your mind.

Later in the day we sat down with the team to go through licensing – what needs to shift and where the short, medium and long-term opportunities lie. Wrapped it all up with an interview with Resident Advisor.

Now it’s onto Exeter – let’s keep the momentum going.
