@SirEdward121520 @CodifyBaseball He's probably run to first base thousands of times in his life and never had a first baseman be there, they should never be in the running lane like that.
@MetJeffDev@CodifyBaseball Awful play by the 1B. He's apparently not usually a 1B and doesn't know how to play the position. You NEVER put yourself in the running lane like that, he's lucky Lewis went over the top of him instead of just wrecking him.
@BillStewart415 @adamkotsko Ride shares are far worse. I gave up using them because they would cancel, or just couldn't find my address. Then when they did show up (reeking of pot usually) they took laughably inefficient routes, then one guy drove on a sidewalk and hit a ped!! Cabbies at least can drive.
@ketsays The storm goes until 5pm today so if you already had 5" this morning that 6" mark has likey already been met. Sounds like an accurate forecast. Nobody should be on the roads, conditions are very poor.
@CorbinSW @MrsNiesen @NWSBoulder I think you only paid attention to the high end of the range, friend. I'm on the westside of town, too, and the forecast here was 5-10". What that means is that 5" is just as likely as 10", and most likely it'll be somewhere in between those two figures. It does not mean 10"
M 14.0" of #snow at 1am. #GoldenCO#cowx@NWSBoulder@weather5280. All in 9 hours since accumulation started at 4pm. Very consistent 1.5" per hour snow thru the entire event.
Just hit 11.0" of #snow here in #goldenCO#cowx@NWSBoulder@weather5280 Since we just passed the 7 hour mark since accumulation began, that is an average of over 1.5" per hour so far. Very impressive production!
@cubanintheUSA@chrisvanderveen Now, if someone votes and the gov't, or you, think they shouldn't have voted, that's now up to you to prove that in court, that's what we have them: you can't take someone's fundamental rights away with that due process. The system works as it should.
@cubanintheUSA@chrisvanderveen It does actually burden the free exercise of your right to make you jump through hoops. You shouldn't need to show somebody any documents to use your free speech, your freedom of assembly, voting etc. Anyone should be able to go to the polls and cast a vote, no questions asked.
@Lonewolfbiscuit@9NEWS In the U.S., a democracy, the gov't is us. So you're the government, I'm the government: We The People. So "the government" is your friends, neighbors, family, and coworkers. So yes, we do & should enjoy being in charge of our own lives, and making good decisions together!
Congratulations, Secretary Haaland. For the first time in our history, an Indigenous leader has a seat on the Cabinet, and will oversee the conservation and management of the nation’s natural resources and cultural heritage. This is a historic day.
