Sometimes you try so hard yet, yet fall so short. The real question is whether or not you let that stop you from making that attempt

@bam_weather thoughts on the weather for the planned first pitch?

[Nick Camino @NickCaminoWKYC]

The tarp has already been put on the infield at Progressive Field.

As for tomorrow's Game 4 of the ALCS, conversations and decisions are happening.

As of now, the Rays and #Guardians are **scheduled** for a 6:00 pm ET first pitch tomorrow.

We'll see.

**** subject to change

This is hands down the worst coach I have ever listened too. Total disrespect of his team and players publicly after each loss.

UCLA HC Mick Cronin talks loss to #Michigan

"This is the worst second half defensive field goal percentage of my career... in 23 years. They shot 78%. Worst in my career and I don't have to look it up. I can promise you that. It's not like I forgot how to coach defense."

[Bryton Carpenter @BrytonCarpenter]

@bam_weather What does the storm chances look like as we roll into February? Staying pretty active?

[Bryton Carpenter @BrytonCarpenter]

Michigan goes up 18 in the first half without playing zone. Now up 3 and played only zone in the second half… make it make sense

Wink in CLE would be nasty with that defensive front in schwartz leaves

[SNY Jets @snyjets]

.@Connor_J_Hughes reports on what happened between the Jets and Wink Martindale:

"Martindale and Glenn began discussing a partnership in December, with talks heating up to the point Martindale pieced together a staff who began telling sources SNY touched base with it was a 'done deal.'

The plan was to have Martindale run the defense. Saturday, Martindale flew to Florham Park for an in-person interview. This was believed to be a formality – dot the I's, cross the T's, here’s your office and there’s the cafeteria.

Upon Martindale’s arrival, talking to sources close to the situation, the original plan discussed between him and Glenn changed. The Jets head coach said he wanted to call the defensive plays. This was not something previously discussed with Martindale, or other candidates the Jets touched base with. This is where a potential partnership between Martindale and the Jets fell apart, and why Jim Leonhard was never considered a realistic option.

Sources told SNY on Monday that the Jets now preferred a lesser-known coordinator with Glenn calling the plays. They found that in Duker."

@bam_weather Thoughts on WAA on latest model runs into Columbus, Ohio? Do they normally overdo these scenarios or realistic possibilities?

[Bryton Carpenter @BrytonCarpenter]
