🔥Attack of Vali: INITIA slash -80% of Yield in LP

I believe this sudden proposal should be vetoed in order to establish a direction for healthy governance and how INITIA addresses issues going forward.

Proposal39 of INITIA is asking that Yield of LP should be down to 30% in May 28. And it is getting huge "YES" votes by validator

Slashing the yield to one-fourth without prior notice is like an unexpected blow to the community members who trusted the project and provided LP support.

What’s more, this is a proposal that could be decided in just 7 days and it is three times faster than the 21-day unbonding period required for stakers to withdraw.

I think incentive yields should be adjusted to maintain ecosystem health balance. So such changes must be gradual and accompanied by clear communication and sufficient notice. This allows investors to plan accordingly. Governance rushed through by a one-sided parties(in this case, validators) will ultimately stamp belief of early supporters. ⚠️⚠️Voted for NO WITH VETO on INITIA @initia 's recent proposal on reducing the enshrined liquidity (INIT-USDC) APR parameter to 1/4 in one strike.

See the point in the reasoning but this kind of actions that may effect the ecosystem as whole should be carried through out a time span of epochs.

If protocol is aiming for a target number they do not achieve it by basically x4 or 1/4ing the rates. They take gradual actions to observe the effects and to add assurance on the future they predicted.

adjusting numbers by 1/4 or x4 in on strike is just nonsense to me + believe it is an hasty action in assuming the unpredictable future to be true and carrying out the action without any testing or observation.
