Had a great week building a house in Marcala Honduras this past week for a family who had no home of their own. It is a great way to show the reality of God’s love for them in a tangible way. Thanks @Buster_86@CasasporCristo and @gatewaystl
It's so wild to think that 99.9% of human progress has come in the past 200 years. 99% of that is probably the past 100.
The next 25 years is going to be unlike anything we've ever seen.
Pastor Doug’s message at Grace Family Church today was from Acts 6-7 on the life of Stephen. The topic was what happens when our faith gets tested? His points were:
Pressure reveals what comfort hides.
Choose faithfulness over popularity.
God allows things to happen to us that test our faith. It could be illnesses, circumstances, persecution or other problems. How will we respond?
Will we stay true to God and our convictions or will we compromise our principles or our faith.
Stephen got challenged by the authorities for his belief in Jesus but stayed true to God even to the point of death. We rarely get pushed that far but when we are challenged do we remain faithful or do we compromise in order to fit in or eliminate any controversy?
God wants us to be faithful!!
Great thread, 60 2 months ago. From last Thursday, I'm a volunteer FF, went down and up this hill 3 times, the dudes in the pic are literally half my age. I'm not an elite athlete but am motivated. Get up and get moving.
Many don’t want to “give” in the sense of releasing control. They want to control through strategic “investing” in causes they support. Part of the tradition point of giving is breaking the chain mammon has on the heart along with doing good works. Different. @MebFaber
@mattyryze The politicians calling for higher taxes almost always have donated $$$ to private charities and their foundations over the years (very generous!)
They could choose to donate to public charities instead (federal and state government) but don't?
Why not?

Biden's pardon of Fauci is unconstitutionally vague, covers 10 years of potential crimes, and was signed by autopen without Biden's direct authorization. You can't pardon someone for crimes never specified. This should be challenged in court.

Adam Schiff released a video fantasizing about what “we” could pay for “by the wealth of our first trillionaire."
"$1 trillion, if we decided to distribute that equally among American households, your household would get $7,500..."
Sounds downright utopian, Adam.
Eighty-two years ago today, freedom stood on the edge of extinction, and Allied forces stormed into hell to help save the world.
We will never forget the courage, the sacrifice, and the blood spilled on that fateful day.
90% of the soldiers on the first boats to hit the beach didn't live to see the end of the day. Look at those faces. Some of them never made it to 18.
Never forget that they paid the ultimate price for our freedom. We live our lives the way we do because of them.
