Today, I met with Mark Read, CEO of WPP, one of the world’s largest marketing and communications services groups. During the meeting, we discussed the UAE’s strategic vision to cement its position as a global hub for the creative economy and to foster a distinguished business community that brings together the world’s leading names in this field.
We believe that marketing and communications are key drivers of economic growth and essential enablers for the success of companies across various markets.
The UAE will remain a committed partner to leading global institutions, while Dubai continues to strengthen its position as the premier destination for companies that drives meaningful impact and redefine innovation across communication, media, and digital marketing, contributing to the development of a globally integrated, creativity driven economic model.

Smart, empathetic use of marketing can help brands to demonstrate their true values, relevance and purpose to people at a time when they are most needed. (3/7)
At a time when no-one has a clear understanding of how events will evolve and yet so many have an (often ill-informed) opinion, the need to communicate clearly, calmly and regularly becomes paramount. (2/7)
