Really excited to continue on our #SAGE#AthenaSWAN journey @Sydney_Uni with the first meeting of our 2nd Self-assessment team (SAT-II). Welcome to our 27 new (and not so new) members!! Still didn’t get a photo of everyone.... @SciGenderEquity
Proud of @Sydney_Uni to be the first to sign the joint statement outlining our commitment to gender equity during and after covid. @AnnieFenwicke@SAGEatSydney
What is it about uni staff that makes them so undeserving of Scott Morrison’s help?
The Government cannot explain why a uni student working a $100 shift per week receives the full $1500 JobKeeper wage subsidy, while a full-time uni worker with kids to support, is not eligible.
Due to a shortage of hand sanitiser, some of our @syd_health schools have been running low on stock. So our qualified pharmacy lab technicians have come to the rescue and made over 15L of @WHO recommended sanitiser that has been distributed to those who need it. #usydforgood
I love IWD. At @Sydney_Uni , we come together in conversation and this year did not disappoint. I was thrilled to invite broadcaster and author @bairdjulia to join @timsout ‘In Conversation’. Thank you also to Michael Spence @renaemryan1 and Kate Small for sharing their wisdom.
What makes a good leader? Eight of our top academics, who also happen to be women, share the view from the top – and the advice they'd offer aspiring female leaders – ahead of International Women's Day on Sunday. https://t.co/QUtmmCSMNw
As a proud partner of @sydneymardigras, we are so excited to have our #USYD students and staff marching, dancing and grooving in the parade next weekend. 🌈💕
☀️What a beautiful day to celebrate the beginning of a new semester! Today's smoking ceremony recognises the important role the @Sydney_Uni community plays in facilitating and promoting reconciliation and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island empowerment. #usydforgood
