Today, DG @pumukunzi visited the International Technical School of Kigali (I.T.S Kigali), engaging with school leaders on daily operations and key challenges to strengthen collaboration for a better future.
With over 800 students, I.T.S Kigali offers four programmes: Tourism, Networking, Internet & Technology (NIT), Computer Systems & Architecture (CSA), and Food & Beverage Operations (FBO).#NanjyeNdiTVET
Discussions shifted to digital innovation and skills development in vocational education and training, with a focus on expanding access to digital tools and technologies. Panelists emphasized the importance of modernizing curricula, strengthening industry collaboration, and equipping learners with the skills required to thrive in a rapidly evolving digital economy.

The TVET Expo and Skills Competition at Camp Kigali concluded and our students secured medals. The Student at #ESTBBusogo secured a Silver gold medal in Culinary Arts and her counterpart at #CBSKINIGI secured a gold medal in Food and Beverage Services.
Rwanda TVET Board, through @Ubukerarugendo, is conducting the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) assessments for over 500 hospitality and tourism practitioners who do not possess formal academic qualifications in the field.
