@HalilMrT4Real@BGT This is self-publicising at its absolute worst! How has this ‘saved lives’? Stop it. This is demeaning the genuine work schools do to change, and save, children’s lives. Just be proud of the children, celebrate them and stop making this about you.
@oldandrewuk@eugenemcfadden@greg_ashman@sputniksteve@ManYanaEd@DrBARAndrews This is a really interesting thread with some great points raised for discussion. Andrew, I used to admire your challenges and pursuit of truths. Sadly, you now just come across as a relentless pedant prepared to discredit and offend anyone who reciprocates your challenges.
@chrisdysonHT@ParklandsLeeds Not wanting to pee on your bonfire (as this is a beautiful thing for the children), but given the current climate this feels irresponsible. Staff need a break and shouldn’t be risking a Christmas with Covid.
Could any kind people direct me to some quality examples of long and medium term planning for primary schools that sequence the curriculum around substantive concepts of each subject discipline. TIA
How do so many Headteachers find the time to take selfies every 5 minutes and upload to Twitter while they are in school working??? ATM I don’t have time to go to the loo!
Lots of respect for Chris, but this tweet doesn’t chime with me. Why do folk applaud? The school was run appallingly and the kids were getting a poor deal. Relationships don’t excuse low expectations.
Quite simply @channel4...this series of #EducatingGM was my best one. Episode 1 was the single best episode I have personally seen...seeing @drewpovey honesty at the end is to be applauded. People will knock but look how he talks to students and gets positive reactions. Loved it
@teacherhead@debrakidd@paulspc93 Typical reply from @debrakidd here. Starts undermining and ridiculing anything/one she doesn’t agree with. Ignore it Tom. Your opinion is as valid as anyone else’s.
