In Memoriam: Christine Cotton

Christine Cotton was a biostatistician who spent twenty-five years inside the pharmaceutical industry - managing clinical data, running a contract research organization she founded, and holding the rigorous standards of Good Clinical Practice as her professional creed.

She was not a physician, nor an activist by temperament. She was a numbers person, trained to spot anomalies in datasets that others might overlook.

That training became her calling when, in December 2020, she turned her expertise to the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine trial documents.

What she found was catastrophic: protocols violated, data inconsistencies, and a commercial product released to the public that did not match the formulation tested in the pivotal trial.

She detailed her findings in exhaustive reports, slides, and public presentations. She filed formal complaints with French health authorities. She became what the French call a lanceuse d’alerte - a whistleblower.

In her final message, posted on June 2, 2026, Christine described the toll: pain radiating from her lower back into her legs, burning sensations across her skin, a year of futile consultations with neurologists, rheumatologists, pain centers, homeopaths, and magnetizers.

Nothing helped. She wrote that the suffering began at the moment she lodged her complaint.

Whether the illness was coincidence, consequence, or something more complex will remain a matter of debate and investigation. What is not debatable is that she reached the limit of what a human body and spirit could endure.

Her analysis of the Pfizer trials remains online, as do her earlier reports and interviews. They stand as a testament to one woman’s refusal to look away from data that contradicted the official narrative.

We are Hungarian lawyers. My colleague Agnes Pal-Szantó and I are working with vaccine-injured children. We have about 120 ongoing litigation to protect the lives of our clients.

In Hungary, there is mandatory vaccination. According to the vaccine schedule, until the age of 18 months, every child gets vaccines against 25 different pathogens five times: at birth, at the second, third, fourth, 12th, 15th, and 185th months. [1] After this, at the age of 6th, 11th, and 12th, there are booster vaccines and the HepaB vaccines.

The local health authority may grant an exemption from compulsory vaccination based on a medical certificate from the child's doctor. In practice, doctors do not grant exemptions, even in the case of a child with severe vaccine injury. Hence, the lawsuits, because in many cases, it may cost the child his or her life to be vaccinated again.

So far, only one of the nearly 200 children we represent has been exempted from vaccination. Not all of the cases are at the litigation stage yet.

If a child is not given a vaccine exemption, the child is taken away from the parents, gets forced vaccination, and then the parent gets the child back if the child survives.

In addition, under Hungarian law, no one is held liable if a child dies from compulsory vaccination.

It is not only compulsory vaccination in this untenable situation, but in Hungary, homeschooling is forbidden, and school and nursery school are compulsory from the age of 3, from 8.00 in the morning until 4.00 in the afternoon. Parents are not allowed to enter in many kindergartens and schools but must drop their children off at the door. In schools, children's phones are taken away from them in the morning and only given back to them after four o'clock. Parents are not allowed to bring food for their children, but a compulsory school meal scheme exists. Many children with vaccination problems need a special diet to avoid further damage to their health, but parents cannot bring in their food. In many cases, even though a medical certificate states that a special diet is necessary, this is not accepted. If the parent wants to bring in their food, even the child is taken away from them and taken into child care system custody.

My colleague and I have had legal proceedings brought against us by the Bar Association following a complaint by a government official. They want to expel us from the Bar Association, so we do not represent these children. In these bar proceedings, the children, their parents, and we are being called a danger to society as if we were criminals.

Doctors and lawyers fear for their licenses, so they dare not give expert advice on compulsory vaccinations or diets, and lawyers will not take on such cases for fear of reprisals.

We come to you because there is no objective news about these cases in the press, but instead, our vaccine injured child clients and we are concretely branded as public menaces and anti-trust.

If there were an opportunity to consult in person or by phone, or if you could provide any help, our child clients and their parents and we would be extremely grateful. In concrete terms, the lives of many children depend on these lawsuits and on our success in getting vaccinations to be voluntary rather than compulsory, on homeschooling children, and on bringing children in kindergarten and school to be fed appropriately to parents and not to eat what the public catering system requires.
