Millions of DIRECTV customers across the country, including viewers in Las Vegas, lost access to dozens of local broadcast stations Monday after a retransmission consent dispute between E.W. Scripps Local Media and the satellite provider.
For Las Vegas viewers, the timing couldn’t be worse. Game 1 of the NHL Stanley Cup Final between the Vegas Golden Knights and the Carolina Hurricanes begins tonight on ABC — which is blacked out for local DIRECTV customers on Channel 13, the local ABC affiliate.

EMOTIONAL REUNION: Milwaukee student Kalen Barksdale was walking the stage to graduate when school staff pretended they couldn't find his diploma. That's when Barksdale's sister, who was serving in the military in the Iran war, entered the auditorium in her uniform.

HASSETT: We talk to the CEOs of the credit card companies all the time. Delinquency is different from default, and there's not any financial threat to the credit card companies. It's just people are taking a little bit longer.
