@willnorman @IslingtonBC @RowChampion It’s not helping! It’s just made things worse. You’re promoting an “idea” that’s done the opposite of what’s intended. It’s cleared ONE road and caused a mess

@MarnieIslington @willnorman @IslingtonBC @RowChampion My point exactly. Essex road and upper street are a compete and utter mess now. This is one of the smallest streets in the area. Never had a traffic queue but eased congestion. Absolutely clueless

@IslingtonBC So, you have now forced drivers to queue longer on main roads, creating more traffic and higher emission levels, for longer periods of time, in more densely populated areas. This system makes zero sense. How unearth did you think this would work?

@IslingtonBC had to walk down Essex Road and upper Street today, and couldn’t quite understand why there was so much traffic..I realised you had implemented yet more road restrictions which have forced all traffic onto the main roads, where it’s densely populated #nologic
