A huge victory for families who have lost loved ones in traffic crashes - New York is stopping super speeders. Up next? Strong implementation by the City Council and the Mamdani administration to make this program a success.

A man drove the wrong way on a two-way street, straight into a cyclist in the painted bike lane. But according to the cops, there's nothing to be done. https://t.co/5D5fxhKYvy
NEW: Former NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell claimed that officers ignore transgressions by drivers if they’re city workers or if they happen to be listeners of right-wing radio host Sid Rosenberg, who called Mayor Mamdani a “Radical Islam cockroach.” https://t.co/BxfTUUNBsZ
The jack-booted thugs of the DEA are back to leaving their personal cars in @nyc_dot's 10th Avenue bike lane. Check out my first-hand report. https://t.co/WgVNzpVEox
Is @NYCMayor's @NYC_DOI ready to take action against corrupt cops?
I reported a vehicle owned by an @EDNYnews employee blocking a crosswalking in Downtown Brooklyn.
Shortly after the 311 was closed as no violation, I headed back to Cadman Plaza and saw that @NYPD84Pct lied.
Most people DO follow the road rules about red lights.
Most people DO NOT follow the road rules about speed.
For most people, why do you think this is?
(a) Lack of knowledge about the dangers of speed
(b) People follow social norms
🤔
it’s amazing that congestion pricing has been so successful that after only 8 months it’s already become the new normal:
we have a safer, nicer, more sustainable NYC and all we had to do was turn on the cameras
A woman drover her car into a guy riding his bike, killing him.
The killer told police she didn't see her victim because of the sun. An investigation concluded that she lied. The sun was not a factor.
The killer's punishment was community service.
I can’t get over how stupid NYC parking policy is
2x/week drivers camp out in their idling car for hours, waiting for street sweeping so they can pull out, let the sweeper go by, and get their free parking spot back
there is zero reason to have any free parking in Manhattan
