Today, 32BJ NJ State Director & VP @Ana_Maria_Hill stood with @C4AH_NJ and Mayor @rasjbaraka, calling on legislators to take action on the healthcare affordability crisis impacting NJ families.
Thank you to our incredible speakers @rasjbaraka, Ana Maria Hill (@32BJNewJersey), Laura Waddell (@NJCitizenAction), Chris Esposito (@njfmba), Deb Cornavaca (@NJEA ), and Patrick Nowlan (@ruaaup), for standing against out of control healthcare costs. We need HCAL (A1729/S3012)!
Hospital prices are the number one driver of rising healthcare costs. Previous administrations have made progress, but @GovSherrillNJ and OHCAT, under @NJDeptofHealth, can do more. We must address rising healthcare costs now, New Jersey can't afford to wait.
We applaud Governor Mikie Sherrill for putting Affordability on New Jersey's agenda this year. We hope this extends to addressing the ongoing healthcare affordability crisis currently impacting New Jerseyans everywhere.
