@MarathonDevTeam I love perimeter, dire marsh, and Outpost (especially), but Cryo Archive gave me an experience I had never previously had in gaming personally. I DESPERATELY want more maps on the Marathon itself. That is by far the funnest aspect of extraction to me and would love to see more.

@Codewallis @MarathonTheGame plus your idea gives reason to grind say perimeter among other perimeter grinders to get good loot, and then progress up to the next map with a loot tier achieved from the previous. Thats a pretty cool system idea. So long as high tier versions of all maps exist so it isnt locked

I have always liked the idea of instead of like MMR based matchmaking, if they did loot tier based matchmaking (when the playerbase is big enough for that sadly) that could help too. If my loot value is 2k, I dont need 30k misriah 3 stack in there haha

@Codewallis @MarathonTheGame sounds like it is a chink in the framework of the extraction genre then because not having wipes in arc and the not really a wipe in marathon with how much loot was given out day 1 of s2 felt equally crappy.

@SpaceCowboy1317 @S14deane I much preferred the original story vision destiny had of the traveler being almost the bad guy in a way but was scrapped and left in hints of grimoire and once Cayde-6 died, I had a hard time caring and felt like the lore was just there to fill space than be a focus.

@Codewallis @MarathonTheGame I was super anti wipe before playing marathon just after arc raiders. Having people who play 3 times as much as me have vaults filled to the gills with gold loot they will NEVER run out of is boring for both them AND everyone else.

as a very alright gamer, getting cryo done s1 with my 2 homies over the course of like a 100 hours of trying, that was SO fun. I will never forget finally beating compiler after killing 2 other teams in cryo with our one singular vault keycard. Want more cryo esk maps
